Delete Your MyTrainerOS Account

This page explains how to delete your account in MyTrainerOS, the app published by MyTrainerOS LLC on the App Store and Google Play, and what happens to your data when you do. It applies to everyone with an account: gym owners, trainers, staff and members.

1. Open MyTrainerOS and sign in.
2. Go to Settings and choose Delete Account, at the bottom of the list.
3. Confirm it is you. If your account has a password, you will be asked for it. If you sign in with Apple or Google and have no password, you will be asked to type DELETE instead.
4. Confirm the deletion.

Your request then waits 72 hours before anything is deleted, in case you change your mind. During those 72 hours you can cancel it from the same screen. After that, the deletion runs automatically.

We send two emails to the email address on your account. The first confirms that we received your request, and says when the 72 hours end and how to cancel. The second confirms that your account has been deleted.

You do not need to cancel anything yourself before you delete your account. When the 72 hours end, and before any of your data is deleted, we cancel the subscriptions you pay for through MyTrainerOS: your MyTrainerOS plan, if you have one, and any subscription you pay to a gym or trainer. You are not billed for them after your account is deleted.

Nothing is cancelled during the 72 hours. If you cancel your deletion request, your subscriptions carry on as before.

If you make your request in the iPhone or iPad app, Apple will ask you to sign in once more. That lets us remove MyTrainerOS from your Apple Account.

If you make your request on the web or on Android, or that extra sign-in is not completed, your account is still deleted. MyTrainerOS may then still be listed under Sign in with Apple in your Apple Account. To remove it yourself, follow Apple's steps:

• On your iPhone: open the Settings app, then tap your name. Tap Sign in with Apple. Select MyTrainerOS, then tap Delete.
• On the web: sign in on account.apple.com. Go to Sign-In & Security, then select Sign in with Apple. Select MyTrainerOS and choose to stop using Sign in with Apple with it.

If you cannot sign in, or would rather ask us, email privacy@mytraineros.com with the subject "Delete my MyTrainerOS account". Send it from the email address on your account so we can confirm it is yours.

We will reply within 30 days. You can also use this address to ask us to delete some of your data without closing your account, for example your health data.

When your account is deleted, we delete your personal data, including:

• your profile: name, email address, phone number, address, date of birth and photo;
• your workouts and program assignments, nutrition and water logs, habits, body measurements, wellness check-ins and readiness scores, and health and wellness data, including anything synced from Health Connect, Apple Health, Oura or WHOOP;
• your messages, AI coaching conversations and insights, voice notes, progress photos and form-check videos, and recordings of video sessions you took part in;
• your settings, consents and notification preferences.

The 72 hours are your time to change your mind. Once they end, deletion is completed within 30 days. Copies in our backups are deleted within 90 days.

• Payment and tax records, such as invoices and payment amounts, which the law requires us and your gym to keep, typically for 7 years. Where we can, we remove your name and contact details from them.
• Information needed to resolve a dispute, prevent fraud or meet a legal obligation, only for as long as that need lasts.
